VAN NUYS, Calif. - These things we know for sure: Belladonna was brought up a nice Mormon girl. She won four AVN Awards for her work in Evil Angel’s The Fashionistas. Diane Sawyer made her cry on ABC’s Primetime Live. She stuck a baseball bat up her arse in No Limits.
Oh, and she’s retiring from performing.
Retiring?
"I get bored," she says, sitting in the offices of Sineplex Entertainment. "I’ve been doing it for three years, made 250 films, I’ve fucking done everything in this business that there is for me to do on camera, so now I’m not performing anymore, I’m just directing. I’ll keep that stuff in private from now on."
Private?! Isn’t it a little late for that? Perhaps there’s another reason she’s calling it quits. Maybe if we ask again...
"A lot of the reason that I don’t want to have sex on film is that I don’t want to put up with any STDs ever again," Belladonna, who turns 22 this month, explains. "That shit is what ruins my desire to fuck anymore. It really does. If I would have sex every day and walk away without any diseases, I would do it forever. There’s a lot of shit that goes around and it’s not good, especially as a female. You can lose your chance in life to have children."
In March, she signed a five-year deal with Sineplex, a contract that, somehow, doesn’t require that their hot young star actually appear in her own line of videos, Bella’s Perversions. Directing the series is her current focus, though the retiree does threaten to make the occasional appearance in front of the camera.
Perhaps another reason Belladonna has lowered her profile is the heat she’s taken for her Primetime Live appearance. She says that while everyone has been kind to her face, friends have told her to watch out and she has had some personal trouble, though she doesn’t elaborate. Truth is, she wasn’t happy with the show either.
"I was embarrassed," confesses the hard to embarrass babe. "I said a lot of things that I really wanted everyone to hear and they took everything bad and made the whole story look like I was a victim. Anyone who’s seen my movies knows that I sure as hell wasn’t a victim. Seriously, watch the movies, I’m smiling most of the time - if I don’t have anything in my mouth."
And, again, she flashes that sexy, dirty-girl, gap-toothed smile.
What a shame it would be for Bella to stop appearing in videos. She’s even sexier in person and looks awesome in her blue jeans, loose white tank top and ball cap. She’s attentive and smart and funny, but with that wild glint in her eye that makes you think she’s capable of anything, such as that pine in her pooper in No Limits.
"Did you see the baseball bat one?" Bella says, nearly jumping out of her chair with excitement. "Isn’t that hot shit? My body looks the best there, too. I picked that baseball bat out myself, I went and bought that brand new."
Of course, the first question in my simple mind was, Gosh, Bell, weren’t you afraid of slivers?
"I kind of felt it," she says, her eyes closing a little bit, like she’s recalling a fond memory, her hands moving up and down as though caressing the stick - or a really large dick. "I thought maybe I wanted to put a condom on it, but I was like, `this is probably cleaner than most dicks I’ve had inside me.’ It was fun. It’s pretty interesting when you shove a baseball bat up your ass, it’s not any pain at all. At all. Because if you are the person putting it inside your own self, you feel everything; now, if a guy’s putting his dick in your ass, you don’t know where he’s going to go next. That’s when girls kind of tighten up, you know?"
